The Victoria Rangers Supporters Club started in the summer of 1995.

The Club was formed by three very diehard Rangers Supporters Ralph (Ranger Ralph) White, Bill Bell and Peter Lyon who have helped maintain the club throughout the years.

The club started viewing games in the pre-internet era at the The Tudor House in Esquimalt.  The club grew to about 20 supporters and numbers have fluctuated over time.  Given the technology of the day, pre-Rangers TV, the Club had to use Setanta at considerable expense to watch matches live or use VHS to record a match.  The club has moved venues a few times: The Douglas Hotel, The Oxford Hotel on the Gorge, Peter’s Basement, Silver Threads Center and its current location at The Victoria West Soccer Club.  Vic West Soccer – Vic West Soccer

An interesting anecdote was when a barman who had promised to tape an Old Firm match at 0400 slept in.  Unfortunately, when the large crowd of 30 plus showed up no game.  The best part of that day was a 5-3 win.

Past Presidents include Ralph White, Bill Bell, Peter Lyon, and Tom Kirk.  Our current President is Andy Muir.

Membership has fluctuated from a high of about 20 down to a hard core of three and current membership of twelve.  We are an eclectic group of Rangers supporters who now benefit from streaming services (Rangers TV – DAZN) to watch our team.  We are always open to any visitors or new members who enjoy Glasgow Rangers football
